Large public services organisation in Chester is recruiting an Interim Finance Manager for 3-6 months.

Large public services organisation in Chester with an experienced and stable finance team.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll be managing a small team and ensuring efficient and effective performance of the team and the general ledger function. Duties will include providing management information to internal and external customers, including monthly finance packs and quarterly board packs. You'll also manage the yearly KPI audit, update the finance risk register, support the production of the annual report, and hold regular budget holder meetings to monitor performance. Other tasks include completing VAT submissions and assisting in the preparation of the business plan.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA/CIMA part or qualified accountant available to start at short notice.
What you'll get in return
Initial 3-6 month temporary contract, predominantly working from home. Potential for the contract to be extended.
