Navartis are working on behalf of a specialist cable and pipeline installation contractor who are seeking a Senior Level Project Director to oversee their significant portfolio of large onshore windfarm schemes in various locations around the UK including Scotland, Norwich and South East.
The role is a remote role, and the successful candidate must be happy to travel and work away from home due to location of works, however an allowance for this would be factored into the total package on offer.
To be suitable for the position we are looking for candidates with;
* 10 years+ demonstratable experience delivering complex major infrastructure projects in the UK
* Experience managing major schemes exceeding GBP80million
* Be able to provide a case study on request of full responsibilities on one of these Major Projects.
* Experience of working on Major Windfarm projects would be very desirable but the client will also consider candidates who have worked on any Major Infrastructure projects work upwards of GBP80m (HS2, Hinkley Point, Large windfarms, Large gas pipeline projects etc.
* Excellent Commercial acumen
Role Information.
* Monitoring project progress, overseeing finance / P+L and ensuring project quality
* Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.
* Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress.
* Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
* Devising cost–effective plans to enable effective project completion
* Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
* Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project
* Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams
Salary / Benefits:
Basic Salary of GBP85,000 – GBP90,000 dependant on experience plus negotiable package on top including:
* Up to 15% uplift on base salary for working away.
* Bonus Scheme

* Lodge / Subsistence
* Pension
* Healthcare
