RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a Sub–Sean technology and design consultancy in their search for a Project and Business Development Manager.
This post will be part–funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The final appointment will be subject to the successful funding award.
Submarine Technology has developed robotic–arm technology for ship–based operations such as offshore personnel and cargo transfer, or launch and recovery of equipment. We now seek an energetic and experienced individual to project–manage further work being undertaken with support from the ERDF–funded Marine–i project in Cornwall and to ensure it is relevant to the commercial needs of the offshore industry.
The individual appointed will need to have:
* qualification in engineering or naval architecture to university degree level, or equivalent;
* at least 10 years of post–graduate experience with evidence of successfully managing technical projects;
* been involved in the commercial promotion of new technology products and have an enthusiasm for applying them to real–life applications.
The appointment will be for an initial probationary period of 9 months to coincide with the proposed Marine–I project, with an opportunity for the position to become permanent
