Locum Planning Highways Lawyer

Locum Planning & Highways Lawyer – East Anglia – 3 months – up to GBP45 per hour

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team in East Anglia on a remote working basis. The assignment is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter dependent upon workload. This role will be on an all remote working basis but office presence may be expected once government guidance permits this.

The successful applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of planning law and will have managed a caseload of matters within Local Government.

Day–to–day duties may include:

• Providing advice on a wide range of planning matters

• Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions

• Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements

• Offering support to other legal departments as and when required

• Attending planning inquiries and Planning Committees

The position offers an hourly rate of GBP35 – GBP45 (umbrella/limited) and is offered on a full–time basis although part time applicants may be considered.
