An excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated housing solicitor to join a leading 500 law firm in Birmingham . You will be handling a wide range of housing matters, enjoying a supportive and friendly environment whilst having the autonomy to develop a real specialism within the department.

We have a new opportunity for a driven Lawyer looking to develop their career and join a thriving and collaborative Social Housing team.

You will work closely with a talented team, predominantly in the sales of affordable homes and provide high quality services to a varied portfolio of clients. You can enjoy knowing that your role working with charity housing providers can make a real difference.

Your key duties will be:

liaising with clients in a professional manner

work with a team of experienced lawyers on a broad range of acquisition work; including:

dealing with outright sales

Shared Ownership

Repossessions

Lease Extensions

Deed of Variations

Leasehold Schemes for the Elderly

Staircasing

assisting on large complex deals with appropriate supervision, and also building up your own caseload of straightforward matters

liaising with Registered Provider clients and providing practical advice in a timely and confident manner whilst knowing their business and customer needs
