Head of Finance

Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a highly recognisable client within the Sheffield area who are part of a large International group now looking to recruit a Head of Finance to oversee the localised finance function.

Our client is a specialist within a competitive but highly profitable niche Industry having positioned itself at the top of their market with ground-breaking technological developments to create a range of products that are the best in their industry.

You will be reporting directly into the Group CFO with a dotted line into the UK MD and will be responsible for the finance team including; Accountants, Analysts, Payroll, Ledgers, credit control and accounts assistants.

Key duties will include management and financial accounting, forecasting, and budgeting, monthly board meetings and reporting, profit and margin analysis, process developments as well as managing the year end audit process.

You must be a qualified accountant, ideally having worked within a manufacturing or engineering environment post qualification and with significant strengths around people management and stakeholder leadership.

This role is a new role but a restructure means that there is a need for someone in post asap and as such we can only consider candidates without a long notice period or preferably that can start immediately.
