Are you ready for the challenge of leading digital and management information transformation?

Director of Digital, Funding & Information – DN Colleges Group

Salary c. GBP65k + for an exceptional candidate & pension and benefits.

DN Colleges Group is one of our Region's leading and largest college groups. Set in South Yorkshire (Doncaster College) and North Lincolnshire (North Lindsey College) we operate a multi–site estate and deliver education and training to more than 13,000 students including significant and growing apprenticeships and HE provision, with 2,500 HE students making us one of the country's largest providers of HE from within FE.

The Group has an annual turnover of over GBP50m and is financially secure and employs over 1,000 staff. We are critical to the success of a wide geographic area and play a pivotal role in widening participation through the broadest range of FE courses and qualifications, and a very important growing portfolio of Higher Education programmes and Apprenticeships.

The Director of Digital, Funding and Information is a new, senior post that is fundamentally concerned with making best use of digital technologies, funding and information services to achieve our ambitious strategic aims and objectives, and to remove barriers that prevent our students and staff from realising their potential. This will be achieved by ensuring that all digital, funding and information services are robust and resilient, and are aligned to enable transformational projects to integrate and embed new ways of working in an increasingly dynamic and complex environment.

We require a high–calibre, senior level leader who will have a proven record in digital technology, funding or information services, and who can demonstrate the ability to develop in, and lead, areas for which he/she may have limited previous experience.

The successful candidate will be creative and passionate, outward–looking and dynamic; someone who understands technology and information services but from the perspective of how it can transform organisations and change staff and students' experiences.

We want someone who not only brings people along with them but someone who instinctively operates inclusively and collegiately to harness ideas, deliver transformation and embed ownership.

We will expect you to have a strong affinity with the transformational nature of the education and skills development of young people and adults and a strong alignment with our core values of ASPIRE: Ambition, Support, Partnership, Innovation, Responsibility and Equality. In addition, you will value the important role of our Colleges in the centre of our local communities

The DN Colleges Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff and volunteers must therefore be willing to apply for DBS clearance at an Enhanced level.

We are recognised as a Disability Confident employer, Mindful Employer and also positively encourage applications from all ethnic backgrounds.

Closing date: 12.30pm Monday 15 March 2021. Interviews and Assessment Centre Friday 26th March 2021.

For an informal and confidential discussion about the role please contact our recruitment partners at Protocol: David Beynon (phone number removed) and Dan Bacon
