Kier Infrastructure Major Projects are currently recruiting for a Project Director to have responsibility for the life cycle of major infrastructure schemes from generating new business, to leading a construction team and delivering projects in line with our Company Business Plan.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Project Director role, you'll be required to generate work winning opportunities through successful client relationships and be influential in the pre–construction activities through to successful project delivery. You'll also develop innovative solutions supporting the estimating teams with preparing scheme programme and cost forecasts followed by implementing project plans to meet customer expectations, whilst managing the financial, contractual and operational risks. Safety is a key priority in Kier and you will be responsible for demonstrating exceptional high standards in this area to ensure we achieve our aim of zero accidents and incidents across the business. You'll have responsibility for building and leading teams to deliver high quality outputs and performance.
What are we looking for?
Ideally, you'll be degree qualified with extensive experience within the Highways and Infrastructure major projects sector. We're looking for Tier 1 contractor experience and a proven track record in securing work on major infrastructure schemes leading to successful delivery of significant projects through to completion. You will need to demonstrate excellent project management skills and specific experience in Highways Sector Projects is essential. If you also have Chartered status then this is advantageous.
