Reed Professional Services have been engaged by our Customer to deliver a Work Package for their End User Computing Delivery team who are responsible for the delivery of technology programmes and projects which create and maintain the Customer's Technology from core elements such as networks, servers, and studios.
Who will you be working for?
With a wealth of experience to draw on through working with customers from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and central Government, Reed Professional Services (RPS) understands the broad scope of project managing software design, build and development programmes that are end solutions focused. Our emphasis is on developing quality from the outset, testing at every step to keep both budget and deliverables on track.
What will you be doing?
RPS looking for experienced Project Manager to work on the requirements for a persona–based solution for remote workers. The Project Manager will be working with technical resource to gather data based on user requirements from across the business to define the customer's device strategy, through activities such as hosting design workshops, defining timescales and dependencies through research.
The view is to define 3 – 4 organisational personas, each with different requirements for hardware, remote access levels, mobile requirements.
The right candidates will have the following skills and experience.
Experience managing domain upgrades in large–scale, multi–site environments
Understanding of hardware types required in the delivery of identified workflows
Experience with preparing and monitoring budgets
Understanding of high–level commercial impact of volume and how this drives value
Dealing with third party vendors to align business requirements with suited product portfolio
Awareness of supply chain constraints to ensure BAU and project activity unimpeded
Planning around global variables such as logistics, localization, restrictions, and overall availability
Demonstrable experience of developing robust project plans to ensure that the project runs on time
Project governance tracking and reporting to the highest standard
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
