Talent Builders are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Director for an established Mechanical & Electrical contractor who have built enviable reputation for delivering outstanding projects across the residential and commercial sectors. Projects range in value from GBP750,000 up to GBP(phone number removed).
You will be working for a forward–thinking and well–respected company who really care about their employee wellbeing and support their professional growth. The role is based at their Head Office in Essex however there will be a requirement to visit sites throughout London on an adhoc basis.
Project Director Responsibilities:
?? Lead the Operations teams on your given projects to deliver programme objectives and contractual obligations; on time, every time with 100% health and safety.
?? Drive continuous improvement across their operational processes and procedures.
?? Inspire and engage the Senior operations team, acting as a role model
?? Work across functions to represent the views of the Operations team and inputting into overall Company strategy and direction.
?? Analyse performance data and recommend actions to address any underlying issues or suggest improvement areas.
?? Hold the team accountable for the delivery of agreed performance measures, providing support, guidance and coaching.
?? Lead client conversations, resolving any contractual issues with a solutions first approach whilst protecting the Company's interests.
Project Director Requirements:
?? Positive mindset, always striving to overcome challenges.
?? At least 2 years' experience of leading a Site / Senior Project Management team with project values circa GBP20–GBP30m within the Heating and Plumbing industry on residential projects.
?? Skilled negotiator, able to manage complex contractual issues to win –win outcomes.
?? A positive and encouraging Leader, experience of motivating a large team to exceed expectations.
