The NHS are working with Dartmouth Partners to identify an interim deputy cfo to be responsible for all aspects of finance and drive financial performance across this key NHS trust. The role will be extremely high profile and partner a number of stakeholders in this fast paced, operationally focused capacity. The assignment is likely to last for 6-12 months and will operate on a remote basis for the right candidate. There is also the chance this role could go permanent. Reporting into the Executive CFO, your key deliverables will include:
- The Deputy Chief Finance Officer will work with the Executive Chief Finance Officer in managing all aspects of financial management, including financial strategy. The post holder will ensure that all financial accounting matters and external monitoring requirements are dealt with promptly and in accordance with all relevant guidance and statutory obligations.
- The post holder will be responsible for the development of the long term financial plans for the organisation. The post holder is responsible for providing the support to the commercial and contracting activities of the Trust. The post holder is responsible for the Purchasing function within the Trust.
