Financial Reporting Manager required for a successful group of business based in Welwyn Garden City
This is a newly created role and focuses on the external reporting as well as supporting a number of business units with accounting advise.
Whilst reporting into the Head of Finance and managing a small team your duties and accountabilities include:
Assurance of Group reporting, production of statutory reporting, acting as contact for Audit and technical updates, leading IFRS 15, supporting systems improvements, supporting acquisitions and ensuring new businesses are integrated smoothly and in line with group reporting and policies, providing leadership and development to the reporting finance team, revenue recognition and ad-hoc projects.
This newly created role is well suited to a qualified Accountant ACA (big four background would be highly desirable) or ACCA with a sound technical accounting background.
It is essential that you have the personality and communication skills required to build relationships with internal stake holders and external bodies.
