Specialist law firm that and is recognised across Gloucester is seeking to secure a Private Client Solicitor to head up their department. They are already well established in Gloucester but are looking to expand that further and bring on a new hire to lead the team.
As the Head of Private Client your work will be to motivate and develop the team, oversee workloads, and deliver both individual and team targets. You will conduct team meetings as well as attend HOD meetings.
Your workload will be in relation to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and capacity issues including deputyship. This means handling the preparation of Wills and advise on Trusts, capacity along with Inheritance Tax. You will also advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with applications and registrations and Trusts including preparation of appropriate Trust Documents. You will also work with clients and the litigation team on Contentious Probate matters.
