Head of Cloud – Commercial. Home based – Circa GBP150k package
This newly created role is with a renowned Microsoft Gold Partner and you will be responsible for all aspects of Sales leadership for the Cloud business.
What is required of you:
* Knowledge of the UK Cloud Market and relevant vendors (particularly Microsoft)
* Experience of working within a services/managed services environment
* Experience of having to drive a self–acceleration strategy within a business and operate at a senior level internally and externally
* The ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams within the business
* The confidence, drive and creativity to effectively run an area of business
* Previous experience of people management
* Proven experience in maintaining and developing partner relationships
* Proven experience in managing project teams using agile methodologies
* A passion for Cloud technology and driving the business forward is key
* The ideal candidate should be a strong influencer, proactive, articulate, with first–rate communication and relationship building skills, and be an adept organiser
Key responsibilities include;
* Own and manage the Pipeline and report back to relevant Stakeholders
* Be responsible for all commercial elements of the cloud team
* You will need to work with the Marketing team to help communicate the breadth of Cloud offerings and capabilities, both internally and externally
* You will work with the relevant departments to understand and shape the compensation methodologies for cloud/consumption/subscription models across the business
* You will be responsible for building and developing a diverse and inclusive team over time, so sales management experience is required
* You will need to be able to support the sales teams in client interaction and any problem resolution required
* You will be responsible to the business for managing costs, expenditure and profitability
Remuneration
This is a senior appointment with circa GBP150k+ package dependant on experience and previous proven success
