A South West NHS Trust has a new opportunity for a Finance System Review Project Manager, on a 6 month fixed term contract.
The post holder will be a Systems Accountant who has experience and skills in project management, and will manage the development and delivery of the Financial System Review Project.
Main responsibilities include:
Manage the day–to–day running of the project in accordance with project parameters;
Be accountable for ensuring the successful conduct of the project to the highest possible standards;
Ensure that planning and management of the project is optimised, liaising across training leads in partner organisations and education providers;
Convene and support the Finance System Review Project Meetings and ensure appropriate resources are available to take minutes, manage action logs and prepare agendas;
Establish, organise, chair if appropriate and attend various project meetings aligning support as necessary;
Deliver appropriate reporting on project progress in accordance with agreed project parameters;
Ensure a robust project governance framework;
Develop and maintain project documentation as required including: project plans, highlight reports, financial reports, timelines, risk and/or issue registers etc in line with Trust systems, templates and processes.
Essential requirements:
Fully Qualified Accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
Project/programme management qualification or relevant experience
Significant experience in systems accounting, within a healthcare setting
Experience of managing complex change
Excellent understanding of project governance
