Financial Controller

Are you a Financial Controller with Group experience? Knocking on the door of promotion to Director or certainly moving toward Finance Director level?

This is an opportunity to carve a niche for yourself, providing strategic guidance to the company owners and directors. Therefore leadership in the area of Finance will be essential and your input will genuinely make a difference. You will have responsibility for managing a small Accounts team and developing them to their full potential.

Your core duties will include the following however as a flexible and dynamic firm the role will likely evolve in line with company growth.

* Supervise the preparation of month end accounts and VAT returns

* Ensure the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliations

* Budget analysis

* Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel

* Oversee the preparation of year end statutory accounts

* Managing, mentoring and motivating the accounts team

* Budgeting & forecasting

* Contributing to company financial strategy and decision making process

* Undertaking financial analysis and reporting

* Ensuring robust financial systems and processes are in place

* Overseeing tax and compliance

* Developing forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
