Client Summary:

Our client is a global leader within the manufacture of bespoke electrical systems.
They are looking for a Project Manager to coordinate a Project or Scope of Work through the business in a professional manner with control and visibility. They will engage matrix functions to ensure customer contracted deliverables are achieved to Schedule, on Budget and to the correct Quality.

This role is heavily linked to the UK manufacturing site and it is essential that applicants have proven success delivering specialist products / parts manufactured within the UK.

Job Requirements:

1.To understand, document and communicate the Project Scope or Scope of work.
2.To ensure that customer design, specifications and other requirements are available to an agreed schedule to support on time deliveries in full.
3.To track and prioritise ensure manufacturing capacity is available in line with customer commitments.
4.To create and maintain project dashboards including Bid and Contract status, Engineering Status including Change Management, Delivery Status planned vs Actuals, Build Stage Status, Quality Performance, Customer Open Items, Risk and Opportunities, Communication Log and information.
5.To set up and maintain appropriate folder structure for the project and ensure project information is appropriately documented, retained and accessible.
6.To support the bid effort, ensure scope is controlled and any variation opportunities are maximised.
7.To write and agree manufacturing and delivery schedules ensuring accurate material forecasting with support from Project Administrators.
8.To coordinate our response and action to all Contract Deliverable Requirements and the Parts Approval Process.
9.To create production boards to reflect and manage scope.
10.To actively engage, lead and coordinate meetings and Open Items Lists with all stakeholders.
11.To ensure delivery is on time to advised lead times and customer expectations are professionally managed.
12.To manage any internal reviews including gate reviews.
13.To report sales and any missed deliveries.
14.To support and mentor junior members of the team.
15.To provide support for any other business needs.

Qualifications:
– Degree Qualified in a relevant subject
– Additional Project Management Qualifications such as Prince 2 are highly desirable
