Ellis Knight are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager for a leading charity based in Oxfordshire. This is a 12–18 Month interim opporunity, paying up to 70k and with the option to work from home a few days a week.
Qualifications:
Educated to Degree Level
Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
Has shown evidence of own career and professional development.Knowledge and Experience:
Extensive experience working in a large accounting function.
Technically strong, with a working knowledge of UK GAAP including FRS102
Working knowledge of VAT and its application to charities
Extensive experience of producing Statutory Accounts and Annual Reports
Experience of management of external audit processes
Good attention to detail and a propensity to achieve uniform standards of presentation and communication
Excellent systems experience including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level such as pivot tables and v look ups), Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent working knowledge of general ledgers.
Demonstrated mathematical and analytical knowledge and the ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
Experienced at implementing change to maximise efficiency in processes, results and team structure.
