ackson Hogg is engaged in an exciting search with TT Electronics to support their appointment of a new Vice President / General Manager to oversee the Global Manufacturing Solutions (GMS) division. This is a UK opportunity overseeing two sites across Newport (Rogerstone) and Fairford.

Our team of 230 employees is part of the Global Manufacturing Solutions division and delivers end to end through life tailored business solutions to world leading manufacturing partners. Role Overview and Responsibilities

Introduction

Reporting to EVP of Global Manufacturing Solutions and Power Solutions, the primary focus is to deliver the P&L for the business, leading to sustainable profitable annual growth. Having full P&L ownership of the Rogerstone site in South Wales business and the Fairford location, the VP/GM takes responsibility for developing and executing a clear and robust strategy to achieve the financial plans of the business.

The VP/GM will also serve as a member of the Global Manufacturing Solutions Leadership team and work collaboratively and consultatively within the team and amongst peers from the other TT Electronics Divisions to contribute to overall division and TT Electronics success.

Working together from within the Global Manufacturing Solutions Leadership team, the VP/GM will bring forward thinking and realistic perspectives on the challenges and opportunities confronting the business and the market , developing strategies to take full business advantage to protect and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Management of the business in its entirety, including full accountability for the P&L

* Develop a strategic growth plan to support the UK businesses, recommending investments and allocation of development and capital resources aimed at delivering year over year sustainable profitable growth

* Developing and implementing a sales and channel strategy for the business including building and managing a strong Account Management and Market Development team

* Managing excellent customer performance

* Support operational activities including setting priorities, monitoring & continually improving performance

* Lead from the front to deliver best in class Health and safety performance

* Embedding the Be TT strategy and continuous improvement in operational performance through BE Lean, Cost of Quality and Strategic procurement activities, delivering year over year improvements in efficiency

* Owning and driving performance and profitability including cost positioning, pricing strategies, competitive analysis, lifecycle management and operations

* Evaluating competition, customers, and opportunities as they relate to existing services and potential service development activities

* Establishing and developing the leadership team within the UK business and their direct reports through people development and effective succession planning.

* Ensure highest ethical standards across the division and full compliance to the group code of conduct

Core Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

* Experience in managing a team of seasoned professionals, dealing with the full gamut of business functions in a mid to large size company.

* Experience developing growth/strategic business plans

* A minimum annual sales revenue responsibility of GBP30m

* Experience working in the Aerospace, Defense and/or Medical manufacturing markets

* Experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Markets/Products

* Proven track record of leading projects and teams

* Experience in acquiring and integrating acquisitions would be considered a plus

* Sound administrative skills, well–developed management skills.

* Degree–educated, preferably with an MBA or similar post–graduate qualification
