Salary: GBP85,000 – 95,000 + 20% bonus, car plus benefits

Location: Yorkshire based

OVERVIEW:
This direct leadership role offers support in the execution of the commercial success of the relevant businesses. This role will focus on change management, integration and transformation across UK /Europe and will require exceptional influencing skills and the ability to successfully manage very different stakeholders across a wide range of functions and locations. The HR Director will have real aptitude in strategic business partnering, confidence to challenge, excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills and can prove evidence of integrating European businesses into UK businesses with US H/O.

THE ROLE

–This is a crucial role where the individual will be working with a small commercial senior leadership team and where the key focus is on change management, integration and transformation and will require outstanding influencing skills and effective stakeholder management across different functions and locations UK and Europe.
–The ideal candidate will be commercially focused and have strong business acumen, someone who can drive the transaction from due diligence to post–acquisition integration from an HR perspective across EMEAI.
–Manage the HR critical work stream activity for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures working with key stakeholders in the business and wider HR community.
–Plan and manage the HR aspects of the integration of acquisitions such as Talent development, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits. Leading and managing key projects for HR which have an impact on the workforce including analytical projects.
–Create and execute detailed implementation execution plans and track progress against key/objectives.
–Effectively communicate and build relationships and credibility with key Business Leaders, Experts and Division Representatives.
–Lead and drive company group and divisional initiatives and programs
–Lead business through succession management planning
–Encourage others to question established processes and traditional assumptions
–Remove barriers and resistance – strive to understand and break down cultural barriers to change, help individuals overcome fears of change.

THE CANDIDATE
–All candidates who will be considered must have relevant experience working in UK and Europe and have a strong grasp on European law in different countries. They must also be able to clearly demonstrate where they have possessed 'credibility' professionalism, integrity and can clearly be identified as a 'go to' person in the organisation.

–It is essential that the candidate has a strong HR career and is working at Head of HR or HRD level in a global business with particular experience in change–management, integration, mergers, acquisitions, previously driven the transaction from due diligence to post–acquisition integration across a business.
