OVERVIEW

As a HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for advising, guiding and supporting line managers with all matters relating to the employee life cycle, including employee relations, ensuring effective case management of people related issues, such as: disciplinary's, performance management, employment tribunals, grievance and absence management. In addition, contributing to our training programme and Occupational Health processes. You will be required to travel to our International projects regularly.

KEY ROLE DELIVERABLES

* To coach and manage others in the understanding and interpretation of HR policies, processes, and procedures.

* Provide advice and guidance to managers on all employment issues, considering current legislation, corporate policies and procedures and external best practice.

* Take the HR lead for informal and first stage disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases

* Develop strong working relationships across the business both in the UK and internationally.

* To be involved within the company Recruitment, Training and Occupational Health requirements

* Be involved and travel internationally to work with the required teams and management.

* Deliver specific projects as and when required.

* Any other reasonable requests as required by Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

* Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject

* Up to date employment law and best practice HR knowledge

* Experienced in delivering coaching, training and development interventions to raise Line Manager capability

* Experience of working within a construction industry both in the UK and internationally

ESSENTIAL AND DESIRABLE SKILLS

* Strong customer focus and the ability to quickly build strong, and effective, working relationships

* Possesses a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity

* Excellent administration ability with crucial attention to detail

* Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment and to work to deadlines.

* IT literate – excellent working knowledge of word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet

* Flexible, professional, articulate, creative team player

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
