The Client and Project Info:
My client is a leading M&E Contractor who self deliver projects are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to complete a 18 month contract, to Manage one large or multiple small commercial projects.
My client are a Mechanical and Electrical sub contractor, that deliver projects including; HVAC systems, Air conditioning systems, Heating including Ground Source Heat Pumps and biomass boilers, Domestic hot and cold water, Solar energy, Above ground drainage, Sprinkler systems, Medical gases, Rainwater systems, Combined Heat and Power, Grey water harvesting and Electrical services
Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Mechanical Director.
* Supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works.
* Supervising and managing mechanical sub–contractors.
* Assess the quality of work that the client's Labour and its sub–contractors are delivering.
* To assist the quality manager with all QA sign offs.
* Dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
* Making sure that safe working practices are always maintained.
* Attending everyday meetings with the management and other trades.
* Delivering toolbox talks.
* Arranging inductions.
* To manage the productivity and push the project towards the completion date.
Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Previous experience industrial and commercial building service.
* Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
* 10 years' experience working for Mechanical Contractors
* Experience in commercial projects.
