Are you interested in joining a large organisation with offices across the UK that operates in the Town Planning, Architecture, Urban Design, Transport, and Highways Planning sectors? If so, I am keen to speak with you.
I am supporting a leading, multi–disciplinary consultancy who is actively seeking a Planning Director to co–lead the South Yorkshire office. The Practice's client base and workload is very varied and covers most aspects of the planning system and varying scales of project, including development promotion, development plan and development control advice, planning appeals, planning and site assessments and research projects.
Key responsibilities for this role will be the joint responsibility for developing the client base, managing the workloads and professional development of the planning staff and client billing and managing an office budget.
In order to apply
The successful candidate will be able to manage competing demands on their time and prioritise tasks accordingly for themselves and others. You will have a flexible and positive attitude, be self–motivated, and able to lead a team. You should also be self–assured and able to develop good working relationships with clients.
In order to apply, you should be RTPI or RICS qualified and have 7–10 years of private sector experience. You should have experience in managing a professional team(s) and able to provide leadership and vision. You should also be client–facing, and be used to, and confident with, a business development role.
