Business Development Manager – gaming/in–app – not your standard sell To GBP45k plus 100%+ OTE and equity This unique company is looking for a driven new business sales person, to educate game developers/app publishers on how this new form of in–game/in–app advertising can help drive revenue without losing users due to a rubbish experience. It's a new solution, but it's doing incredibly well for publishers – high CPMs, improved player retention and, most importantly, non–disruptive ads. Mobile gaming is massive. MASSIVE. It's the fastest growing digital medium. But we know that selling an ad solution into gaming/app developers is hard. It's a battle to get them to install your SDK in case it ruins user experience, slows it down, disrupts play... What if you were selling a solution that did NONE of that? An innovative ad experience for the users, that returns big results for the advertisers and the publishers? In a bit more detail – the advertisers plug in to this company's DSP and they serve the ads to the apps/games via MRAID. They have a Unity Plugin that gives the developers complete control. And it's a unique format – it's not banners, it's not video, it's not interstitials. It's not annoying. There's your technical bit. They already work with gaming publishers like Kwalee, 9th Impact and many more, and want to bring their solution to a ton more developers. That's where you come in. Your role would be to take this solution out to the developer market, working directly with the CEO (no mega–corp hierarchy here) to grow the publisher integrations. You'll be out developing new business strategies, meeting with, presenting to and pitching to prospects and partners, and rocking up to all the relevant events and conferences (and maybe even sitting on some panels yourself). It goes without saying that you need to be in this world already. You need to have a passion for (or at the bare minimum experience with) gaming/app businesses, and have sold to them already. You need to know what an SDK is, and how to sell them in to publishers. Ideally this will have been a programmatic sell. You need to be hungry, ambitious and have gumption.
