Business Development Manager

GBP35,000 – GBP40,000 + Benefits
Role Profile
Our client is a growing Logistics business who are looking to expand their Business Development team by hiring a Business Development Manager to be based in Lancashire. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a commercial strategy, across both New Business Development and Account Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Finding new business opportunities and turning them into profitable agreements for the wider business
Continue to grow the existing client base, offering a variety of solutions
Report weekly/monthly to the Business Development Director
Developing strong relationships across the business
Together with other key stakeholders within the business, completing solutions design proposals – within Warehousing and Transport
Attend monthly account reviews with existing clients
Attend meetings with new business prospects
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience of selling Warehousing & Transport solutions is essential
Strong financial acumen
Ability to find new leads and convert to profitable business
Experience of using CRM systems
Experience of Cross–Selling/Up–Selling existing accounts to increase revenue streams and provide multiple services to one client
Worked previously within a growing Logistics business
