The Role
We're recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a perm basis. This role will be based at our Manchster office with some home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will be initially home based only. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Project Manager to continue their career in a rewarding working environment.
We are looking for a candidate with a blend of experience across Business Change Project Management and Technical/IT Project Management within a regulatory environment. You will have a passion and commitment to deliver, with an excellent customer focus.
Responsibilities within the role will include:
Lead planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities for small and large projects
Co–ordinate the process of successful implementation of all portfolios onto the in–house platform, liaising with all relevant stakeholders as required
Provide a link between Origination, Operations and Implementation to migrate customer accounts
Deliver small operational changes based around process and system improvements
Work closely with the Business Owner/Sponsor tracking changes, reporting on milestones and producing highlight reports where appropriate
Manage and lead project resources to achieve objectives in line with plans, approved funding and within expected quality and timescales
Demonstrate compliance with agreed methodology, standards, policies and procedures to ensure strong governance
Manage development through projects using agile methodology
Ensure that incidents resolved by the project are recorded and tracked.
To be successful in this role you'll have experience of the following:
Previous experience in technical project management, with a demonstrable understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
Experience in financial services desirable
A good understanding of implementing Lean/DMAIC principles
Workload prioritisation skills to manage a potentially high volume of small changes concurrently alongside supporting larger strategic projects
Vision and drive to support prioritisation of and deliver operational improvements
Excellent people and communication skills is mandatory including the ability to communicate through clear and concise documentation
Good understanding of risks/issues and dependencies between tasks and projects
Comfort with financial/investment terminology and measures would be of benefit
Focus on meeting deadlines, delivering benefits, problem–solving and leading others to deliver change
Ability to work with and guide teams with diverse skill sets.
