The Company:

An exciting opportunity for a high calibre Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer to join a private Educational Consultancy, working to support children's needs. Our client's vision and passion to grow as a company and educational provider is stronger than ever. They remain committed to putting children at the centre of everything they do and as a result have achieved phenomenal results with schools, local authorities and most importantly, children.

The main purpose of the role will be to free the Chief Executive Officer's time from administrative tasks to allow them to spend maximum time on strategic tasks.

Key responsibilities:

* Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls

* Managing the CEO's diary and organising meetings and appointments, controlling access to the Chief Executive

* Managing the diaries of the other 2 Directors

* Keeping all 3 Directors informed and updated about each other's activities and priorities

* Collating papers and agendas for the monthly Board meetings and managing the monthly Board and reporting cycle on behalf of the CEO

* Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation

* Organising events and/or conferences (internal and external)

* Reminding the CEO of important tasks and deadlines

* Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence

* Managing internal and external relationships on behalf of the CEO

* Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems

* Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients

* Collating and filing expenses

* Managing personal appointments and tasks for the CEO

* Providing a minute taking service during key meetings

* Undertaking any other professional duties as directed by the CEO

Skills Required:

* Significant relevant experience in an equivalent role

* The highest possible level of discretion, confidentiality and trustworthiness

* Flexibility and adaptability

* High levels of professional and personal resilience

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Accuracy and attention to detail

* The ability to be proactive and take the initiative

* Tact and diplomacy

* Professionalism

* Highly IT literate, a knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company–specific software as required

* Flexibility of working hours when necessary, with some out of hours contact to be expected

* Driving Licence
