An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS provider who are seeking to appoint an Interim Director for Strategy and Commercial, for up to 6 months in the first instance.
Candidates must have considerable experience of leading the development and implementation of strategic plans at this level within a Healthcare organisation, with experience across both traditional and modern healthcare service delivery models.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band VSM.
Key responsibilities will include:
Candidates must have considerable experience of leading the development and implementation of strategic plans at this level within a Healthcare organisation, with experience across both traditional and modern healthcare service delivery models.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band VSM.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership and responsibility for developing strategic programmes, key enabling strategies and corporate strategy, ensuring alignment between internal plans and the wider organisation;
- Steer the development of new services and expanding geographical operational boundaries;
- Develop and embed a business planning process that leads to deliverable operational plans within the organisation;
- Lead and champion designated teams to support the delivery of strategic programmes;
- Support the organisation in identifying potential partners and relationships to provide its expertise to new and existing areas, and to offer best practice services to improve public health outcomes;
- Bring structure and rigour to the strategic planning process and encourage innovation in examining opportunities for new commercial projects.
- Masters degree qualification or equivalent level of experience;
- Significant experience of leading, developing and implementing strategic plans at this level within a Healthcare organisation;
- Track record in improving service delivery and patient outcomes;
- Expert knowledge of the strategic planning process within a Healthcare setting;
- Significant proven experience of staff management at this level;
- Proven ability to innovate new commercial projects.
