Domus have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager (South) to join a national Health and Social Care provider who offer accommodation and support for adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.

We are preferably looking for someone based in the South, who has experience working as a Business Development Manager within Health and Social Care, who knows the need and demands of the sector.

The Business Development Manager role is to deliver individual revenue related KPIs in line with the Groups commercial objectives.

You will be responsible working in partnership with operational leads to deliver regional/portfolio objectives in a collaborative manner, whilst responding to changing market dynamics.

You will also be required to develop and grow relationships with external stakeholders including commissioners and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

Deliver individual and team growth targets as set by the Group Commercial Director. These include revenue, billable hours, home occupancy and bed filling, dependent on division.

Drive commercial growth for the Group by identifying, unlocking, cultivating and growing relationships with funders, clients, charities, providers, and other relevant bodies.

Partner with divisional Operations Managers to develop and deliver region/portfolio specific growth plans aligned to the Group strategy and vision.

Deliver and report on clear metrics and KPIs as instructed by the Group Commercial Director and Senior Business Development Manager.

Deliver compelling and successful bids that reflect the organisation's expertise and what differentiates us against our competitors whilst addressing Commissioners requirements.

Actively undertake activities to ensure we retain contracts that are in our interest to do so.

Participate in Commercial team meetings.

Develop a strong understanding of the Groups care pathways to be best placed to market our services with commissioners and to develop the volume of intra–group referrals.

Attend regional/divisional meetings as required.

Ensure Group CRM is maintained and up to date at all times.

Key requirements a Business Development Manager must have:

Experience as Business Development Manager within the Learning Disabilities sector.

Knowledge and experience of residential and supported living accommodations for adults with Learning Disabilities.

Proven track record of delivering to new business targets on a consistent basis

Demonstrable gravitas to develop and build strong relationships with commissioners and local authorities.

Ability to increase the brand awareness of the organisation

Highly analytical and ability to able to communicate complex data in an articulate manner to suit the audience

Confident presenter and public speaker

Able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders

Creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative

Strong IT/systems skills knowledge and highly analytical to develop meaningful MI reports

Be prepared to undertake national travel on a regular basis with periods away from home
