Head of Marketing

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for Brand Identity and Communication across all channels for a lifestyle clothing and accessories brand. Working in partnership with ecommerce, design & sales, you will be a key member of the management team, contributing to a growth strategy, to drive the future of the business, to increase the profile of the brand and to define the marketing function.

You will be a 360 marketer, as initially this will be a standalone position with external/internal resources. A background in D2C brands, fashion or relatable sector experience is essential.

Please note, applicants must be located within reasonable commute of Poole, and able to work full time.

Head of Marketing – The Job Description

* To ensure the successful long term strategic development of the brand, to drive and increase profile of the Brand, in line with the needs of target audiences and the strategic objectives, mission and vision of the organisation.

* To coordinate clear, consistent and compelling marketing campaigns across all communication channels – including Tradeshows, Branding, Online, ECRM, Retail and Social Media.

* Develop the vision and direction to grow the brand both nationally and internationally.

* Brand Promotions, Merchandising and Marketing Communications

* Generate appropriate marketing collateral to support local marketing initiatives

* To organise the design, compilation & production of the company's bi–annual catalogue (Spring/Summer & Autumn/Winter)

* To organise and attend photoshoots for the catalogue production and web site content.

* Work closely with the Head of Ecommerce to deliver a clear brand message across our digital channels

* Produce the annual marketing plan and arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.

* Work closely with Head of Sales to look for opportunities in point of sale material, merchandising as well as supporting Trade shows with Brand Guidance.

* To identify and source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press, social media etc.

* Manage department budget spend.

* Track, record and report on ROI in cooperation with finance

* To develop a strong PR strategy across digital and traditional platforms

* Improve and implement and own brand identity (colours, tone of voice, website copy, photography)

Head of Marketing – The Person Specification

* Experience within a similar brand marketing manager, or head of marketing position, ideally within fashion or textiles

* Consumer brand development experience

* Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal)

* Experience of developing multi–channel marketing campaigns: digital and traditional

* Budget management and reporting on ROI

* Experience of managing photoshoots

* Ability to juggle numerous projects whilst keeping an eye on deadlines

* Ability to be operational as well as strategic

* Positive 'anything is possible', energetic approach

* Results and solution orientated

* A great eye for attention to detail
