Our client is a high growth, PE–backed, multi–site organisation based in Kettering, who are about to embark on a significant period of growth. They require a Finance Director to strategically support the CEO in driving this growth, as well as assume responsibility for the operational finance function.
You will ideally have a background in working for PE backed businesses and multi–site organisations, and expertise in acquisitions & investments.
Key responsibilities:
Alongside the CEO, support and drive the strategic planning for the group.
Lead the operational finance function, including driving better processes & efficiencies, and oversight of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Support the CEO in identifying prospective acquisitions, providing financial due diligence and investment appraisal, as well as supporting the integration of new acquisitions.
Partner other areas of the business, to drive and promote financial insight and information across the group to support commercial decision making.
Line management of the finance team.
Ideal candidate will have the below skills/experience:
A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
A background in a PE backed environment, ideally within a multi–site setting.
Expertise across the whole acquisitions process, from supporting the development of an acquisition strategy to performing valuations to completion.
A track record of managing a team and leading a finance function.
Strong controls experience.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels across a business.
Our client is offering a salary of GBP80,000 – GBP100,000 per annum, plus a strong benefits package
