Joshua Robert Recruitment have a truly unique opportunity for an Associate Director of Development to work on a flexible work from home basis, with a hugely exciting high growth development & strategic land business based in Warwickshire.

This niche business is at an early stage in its growth plans and has secured significant financial backing. Punching well above its weight; the business represents some of the leading global property holders and best–known brands, working on some of the largest logistics and industrial property development schemes in the UK. The business is now embarking on a significant expansion plan, due to this, there is now a rare opportunity for an experienced and motivated Associate Director of Development to join the small, but highly ambitious and well financially backed organisation.

The Job

The company's primary focus is to source and secure land by way of option/promotion agreements for the development of large–scale and market leading logistics and industrial developments.

Working in partnership with landowners, the organisation takes sites through the planning process by co–ordinating a full consultant team in order to successfully achieve consent, working hand in hand with the developer, with the occupier's requirements at the core.

The role itself will work closely with the Director of the organisation and broadly will be responsible for assisting and leading in the co–ordination and project management of planning applications, then managing sites through to handover.

The role will involve working closely with the team to identify and analyse potential new sites, appraising new site introductions and assisting in the preparation of the quarterly business plans. In addition, project management of the consultant team when submitting planning applications, assisting in the preparation of Public Consultations, and attending meetings and building a rapport with key bodies during the consultation process.

The Person

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have logistics, distribution or industrial development or agency experience, alongside strong communication skills. The successful applicant will be a driven and passionate property professional, who is well organised, process driven, with great attention to detail.
