Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a client based in Altrincham to engage an experienced Finance Manager on an interim basis for 3-6 months working 4 days per week. The Finance Manager will work in a hands on capacity to oversee the financial management and day to day running of the finance function within the business. Our client is an SME in the manufacturing sector. The Finance Manager will have the following responsibilities:

The rate advertised is a guideline, the rate offered will be commensurate with experience.
- Implement robust controls and procedures, improving financial processes.
- Work in a hands on capacity to ensure all ledgers are up to date.
- Manage a team of 2.
- Produce monthly reporting and management accounts.
- Provide insight to the Group FD on business performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to increase efficiency and drive improvements both commercially and operationally.
The Finance Manager will have the following experience:
- Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar role within an SME.
- Manufacturing sector experience.
- Ability to implement improved processes and procedures.
- Attention to detail.
- Track record of bringing structure and control and a willingness to undertake more administrative/processing tasks as required.
