psd is supporting a leading property development company who are looking to strengthen their central finance function. This is a high-profile role that will support a number of subsidiaries, challenging the assumptions and providing accurate financial information to group board.
This role will have lead compliance aspects, whether financial, taxation or shareholder. You will also play a significant part in the audit process whilst supporting the setting of accounting policies, taxation and M&A matters.
Duties will include:
You will be a qualified chartered accountant from a large audit firm, A technical expert (IFRS and statutory accounts), you will have a good understanding of tax and VAT compliance, be able to communicate well with people at all levels, organised and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
Offer
£60,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Duties will include:
- Strengthen the control environment, enhance quality and delivery of management information.
- Support the regions with implementing new procedures, timescales and accounting techniques.
- Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts. Liaising with the divisional finance teams to ensure the right information is available for consolidation.
- Detailed review of the central functions overheads and working with the budget holders to ensure budgets are met.
- Support the annual budget and monthly forecast process with the FP&A experts in the divisions.
- Support the divisional finance directors and their teams on any technical aspects or matters of group policy.
- Lead member in the annual audit process, statutory accounts and co- ordination with the auditors, delivering the group signed accounts to a very high standard and on a timely basis.
