Your new role
Working closely with the Director of Finance your role will be to support on the all round accounts function.
- Maintenance of the ledgers, including daily bank reconciliations
- Monthly calculation of accruals, prepayments, stock reconciliation, credit card statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts (Profit & loss, Balance sheet and Cash flow statements)
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns ensuring they are completed, submitted and paid within the required deadlines
- Management of the purchase ledger, posting all invoices accurately (stock & overheads), generating monthly payment runs and dealing with & resolving supplier queries
- Preparation for and day to day management of the year end process for the company (March year-end)
- Provide any ad hoc support to the Director of Finance
What you'll need to succeed
- Candidates must be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience in a role at a similar level with similar competencies
- Strong user of Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups etc.)
- Confident user of accounting software
