I am working with a leading global insurer to recruit a company accountant to work in the Finance Operations team and responsible for all Financial Reporting for their Service Companies. This is a broad role with a range of key duties and responsibilities including:
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience working within the insurance sector, with service company accounting experience highly desirable. You will need to have financial reporting experience of US GAAP and UK GAAP and regulatory reporting. Expense accounting experience is highly desirable.

Your new role
This is a broad role with a range of key duties and responsibilities including:
- Preparing US GAAP, local GAAP and regulatory reporting during monthly, quarterly and year end close and audit.
- Production of expenses including accruals and prepayments
- Monthly expense commentary of actual vs budget, providing information and feedback
- Assist the Financial Controller with the production of quarterly Board Presentation
- Management of coverholder cash allocation
