Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting on behalf of one of the most unique businesses in the South Yorkshire area. Our client, a local success story now existing as part of a large UK group operate over several different sectors based within the Chesterfield/Sheffield area.
My client is now looking to appoint a Financial Controller as part of the next stage of succession planning and significant UK growth.
You will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and will be responsible for the accounting process including; Management accounting, financial forecasting and reporting, financial projection management, cash forecasting, systems development as well as significant staff management of transactional and qualified teams.
You must be a qualified accountant having worked within industry. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a proven record of developing relationships within both a management and non-management situation with staff at all levels of a business.
As part of the role, you will also take responsibility for the management of the Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Payroll teams and must be able to demonstrate experience of managing at that level as well as development and improvements of teams at that level.
