A nationally recognised retail brand is looking for a 2+ PQE Commercial Property Lawyer to join their business, based in Hertfordshire.
The business operates 100s of sites across the UK and is a well-advertised household name.
The Role:
This position requires a capable Commercial Property Lawyer to support the Group Counsel in managing a range of commercial property matters relating the large portfolio of sites, working closely with the highly-experienced Estates team on matters including:
- Preparing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents including sale and purchase agreements, leases, sub-lease, agreements for lease, and applications for landlord's consents.
- Updating Estates team on relevant legislative and case law changes relevant to functions
- Day to day support of the Estates team on all legal matters.
In addition to Real Estate matters, there is the opportunity to get involved in commercial work.
Skills:
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years' PQE in Commercial Property and a keen interest in working in-house.
