Our client based in Leeds is recruiting a Commercial solicitor to join its global legal team.
Client Details
Our client is a global leading Manufacturing company. The company is based in the US and the role is working for them and their subsidiary company based in Leeds. The role will be a mix of home working and office based.
Description
The in house role is predominantly to undertake Commercial work but other legal areas would include Data Protection, Employment, Litigation, Corporate Governance work. The role is part of the clients global legal team and is responsible for helping to support the Uk/ European business and Corporate functions. We appreciate that there will be some areas of legal work where candidates do not have relevant experience but the willingness and desire to lean/ pick up new areas of work is essential. As part of the role you will be instructing external solicitors to deal with some elements of the work.

Solicitors from both a private practice and in house background should apply for this role. we can supply the job specification and chat through the role /the global legal team structure if you might be interested in this role or any other in house roles.
It is not essential but if any candidates speak German this would be desirable.

The salary is commensurate with market rates and the benefits include a car allowance/ bonus
