Criminal Lawyer
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister to work in central government. The role offers high quality legal work. Applicants will ideally have experience of practising criminal law. Experience relating to financial crime is desirable but not essential.
The post holder will be advising on criminal law issues within government. There are opportunities to undertake both policy and operational advisory work in the Criminal Law Team. Issues are broad ranging and might include advising on:
• Issues relating to the gathering and use of evidence during investigations
• Changes to criminal law, guidance or operational policy
• Search warrants and production orders
• Money Laundering Regulations
