Due to expansion and transformation a well-known hospitality business is recruiting a talented and confident Financial Controller in a new role on a permanent basis. The company is Private Equity backed and this role reports to the Head of Finance and supports the CFO. They are well positioned for furthers growth and this role will support international expansion.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant who can demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand a diverse hospitality business. Naturally, you will be highly organised, and possesses excellent attention to detail, advanced skills in Excel and be technically excellent.
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance and CFO on various ad-hoc finance projects. This will include new site openings and acquisitions both domestically and internationally; financial due diligence; new initiatives; and ongoing transformation. You will own the Capital Expenditure process and review around new sites and property issues, presenting scenarios, financial planning (including cash flows, budgeting, and forecasting) to board and senior colleagues. Naturally, you will be driving best practice and efficiencies. You will also ensure compliance with the company’s UK and international corporate Tax requirements; Financial Control Review and own all technical accounting issues and understand impact of changes. Due to the nature of this role there will be significant ad-hoc project work.
In this role you will be instrumental in delivering ambitious growth plans and taking the company to the next stage as it moves into new markets.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing start up. It is based in Central London and paying a strong basic salary of £75 -80,000 plus benefits and bonus.
