Your new company
An exciting and fast-growing IT businesses based in Oxford is seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant, with previous extensive experience of managing a finance function. This will be a no1 and autonomous role initially, and will report directly into the CEO, with an expectation to support the sustainable rapid growth of the business.

Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will solely manage the accounting, tax and treasury functions, with focus on producing the monthly management accounts, preparation of the budget and forecasts, as well as transactional ownership. In addition, you will be required to create a cash management strategy with regular cash flow forecasting. As the business continues to grow, you will also be expected to participate in commercial negotiations, attend board meetings, business partner with non-finance functions and liaise with third party suppliers. Leading the year end process and driving process/system improvements will also be integral to your success.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with 2-3 years PQE. Furthermore, you will be experienced in leading a finance function and can showcase a track-record of positive process and system change to drive efficiency and more effective reporting to the business. In addition, you will ideally have expertise with smaller businesses that also have an international presence, with knowledge of Sage or Xero being an added bonus. You will be required to work independently and therefore must demonstrate initiative and be disciplined in managing your time, to ensure all deadlines as met. Commercial acumen, teamwork and effective communication will be key traits to assure that you thrive in the dynamic and fast-changing environment.
