Divisional Financial Controller

Our client is a leading, PE-backed, global Media business with an outstanding performance, profitability and growth track record with a notable brand. Following significant expansion and sustained success globally, they are now seeking a Divisional Financial Controller to report to the Group Financial Controller to join their high performing team. The successful candidate will be joining the business to further the growth, transforming their finance function and delivering further success.

Your role will manage 3 direct reports with team of 18(AP, AR & Credit). This role will be leading on reviewing Month end close processes and timely production of financial reporting is correct and delivered. The role will design and implement financial controls to ensure efficiency but also be needed to build strong relationships across the business teams to ensure your able to make decisions and lead the continuous improvements. The role will also liaise with Internal and External Auditors and Group teams as well as ad hoc duties across the Group when needed. You will also be involved in ad-hoc project work including involvement strategically across the business.. The organisation are looking to drive improvements in reporting, financial accounting and systems.

My client is seeking a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA or similar). While Media experience would be advantageous, candidates will be considered from any sector. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and commercial environment as well as having the credibility interacting with Senior Directors.
