Marks Sattin are working with a well-established client on the outskirts of Leeds who are looking for a Head of Credit for a Maternity cover to be a key stakeholder contact for European Credit Management between the regional units & outsource partners.

You'll will be the kind of person who has the willingness to work under your own initiative where necessary and to make improvements to existing systems and procedures. Excellent communication skills is a must with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have significant collections experience in a B2B environment and demonstrate the ability to lead change and improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the Credit team to achieve high performance standards.
- Review key metrics to ensure outsource partner maximizes the cash collection and working capital.
- Ensure that credit risk is managed appropriately and in line with company policy.
- Head the development of the credit risk and collections strategy.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to establish effective and efficient relationships, whilst managing the financial risk to the business.
- Provide coaching to ensure that staff achieve the required standards of performance.
