This is an innovative pharmaceutical forecasting consultancy based in North West England.
Following major investment into product development & sales & marketing functions this client is now reaching some of the largest pharmaceutical & bio tech companies in the world!
The company now require an experienced Key Account Director to drive sales & implement growth strategy. As a senior member of the team you will be liaising closely with internal departments to deliver a first–rate service to major clients and to expand the company's new client base.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:–
* Your primary responsibility is to hit or exceed pre–agreed revenue sales targets
* As an Account Director you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process, from project kick off to delivery
* You will be targeting new & repeat business (Subscription Renewals)
* Managing your sales pipeline by working autonomously
* Regular communication with existing & prospective clients (includes cold calling, LinkedIn messaging / networking, managing inbound enquiries, maintaining the CRM System, you'll be expected to hit revenue targets & accurately track these key metrics
* You will be the primary point of contact for the client throughout this process, as well as coordinating the involvement of all relevant internal teams
* It will be your responsibility to coordinate involvement of Technical / Commercial teams input or attendance
* Supplier submissions and legal Documentation – You will be responsible for supplier list submissions, contract review & approvals & all other project documentation required
* Communicating with key stakeholders
* Sales & Marketing – A key to their growth is their investment in marketing, both traditional & digital
* You will also have input into targeted Marketing campaigns Internal Communications
* As an Account Director you will be in constant communication with our clients, it is therefore essential that you provide feedback to internal teams based on client needs, competitor activities etc
* What affiliates are best to target, what product to target, create a target client list within each account then get in touch
* Set up 1 to 3 marketing campaigns a month & consult with the marketing team as to which of your companies in your account pack that you would like to target
* Minimum of one trip per month to see prospective clients, e.g a road trip to Switzerland, Germany, local clients in UK etc to visit & demo any clients you have booked
