Senior Project Manager
Do you want to work for a fast–growing manufacturer and supplier of Waste to Energy solutions in a Senior Project Management role, with further growth to lead the Project Management team?
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: circa GBP70k plus benefits
The Candidate:
* Degree qualified in an Engineering or Project Management subject; ideally Chartered Engineer status
* Project Management experience, working with customers in highly regulated industries such as Nuclear, Chemicals, Energy, etc
* Previously managed contracts such as IChemE Red Book contracts or similarly complex ones
* Good Safety, Health, and Environment awareness
* Proficient in Microsoft Office – including MS Project or alternative project management software, and Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
* Experience of SolidWorks advantageous
The Role:
* Responsible for the full project lifecycle dealing with the provision of machinery relating to the Waste to Energy sector, working with customers in highly regulated industries such as Chemicals, globally.
* To write, negotiate and deliver contracts for future Waste to Energy contracts
* As the business grows, to develop, lead and mentor the Project team
* Accountable for successful project planning and execution.
* Involved in all engineering and technical disciplines of projects.
* Scheduling, planning, forecasting and resourcing and client interactions.
* Responsibilities to ensure meeting contractual requirements accurately and on time, maintaining the quality from conception to completion.
* Attend client and supplier meetings as required.
