I am currently working with an established Fire & Security company who are on the look out for a Business Development Manager in the North East due to business growth. The Managing Director has invested enough to increase the sales team by an additional four by the end of 2021.
The purpose of the role will be work to an monthly target of 30k which will be achieved through new business sales, maintenance contracts and extra works with both existing and new clients. The company offer a range of fire and security services from fire detection, suppression, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder. They are currently working with a national client base and include domestic and commercial customers ranging from SME to blue–chip organisations.
The responsibilities of this role will be to build successful business relationships throughout your defined territory. This will be achieved through your own commercial awareness of the market, your contacts and your technical ability.
What you need:
* Experience working within the fire and security industry
* Strong sales experience
* Ability to build both new business relationship and development existing works
* Ability to work self–sufficiently across your defined territory
* Ideal to have the ability to design, estimate and survey fire and security system
* You must be able to travel throughout the North East of England– up to Scotland, across to Carlisle and as far down as Sheffield
* Full clean driving license
