The Scientific Services Director Role

The agency are now looking for a new Scientific Services Director to help develop, nurture and build the editorial team. The new Scientific Services Director will need to be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including some day–to–day writing and reviewing, client–facing, team management, coaching and new business development.

Essential Experience

Around 15+ years' experience in an agency setting
Education: Masters or PhD (ideally)
Experienced in strategic publication plans plus medical writing (at senior level) for a range of materials from slide decks, newsletters, press releases, website content to manuscripts.
Experience with congresses and symposiums and related activities including the writing of both pre– and post–meeting materials.
Experience in developing excellent client relationships with clients
In return, you will receive a salary in the region of GBP90,000 – GBP100,000 per annum (depending on experience), excellent support and ongoing career development. The medical education agency boasts lovely offices in Central London, and are also in a position to look at partial homeworking set–ups for their employees.
