HEAD OF GLOBAL SALES

Location: Head office is located in the North West of England & whilst the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, frequent travel to the Head Office would be required.

Package: Base Salary GBP75,000 to GBP80,000 + Bonus (30% of Base) + GBP12,000 Car Allowance + Private Health+ 28.5 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Laptop + Mobile + Company Credit Card + Expenses

Travel: This role will include international travel (when restrictions are lifted) and overnight stays as and when required

HEAD OF GLOBAL SALES OPPORTUNITY:

We're proud to be exclusively representing a highly successful business that is seeking an experienced Head of Global Sales / Director of Sales / Global Sales Director to join their rapidly expanding business.

With the firepower behind them of a multi–billion pound organisation and a track record of achieving year on year sales growth, they're now poised to unleash their full potential and dramatically increase sales both in the UK & Internationally.

As a result, they're now seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Leader to lead the sales team, develop the key sales strategy and execute the plan to achieve the exponential growth they seek over the next 5 years (and beyond).

Responsibilities of the Head of Global Sales / Global Sales Director / Director of Sales:

Full P&L Responsibility of the Sales Division
Responsible for developing & deploying an effective UK & International Sales Strategy to meet the key objectives set out in the agreed business plan
Hands–on leadership of the existing sales team consisting of National Account Managers & International Sales
Recruiting, coaching and developing the sales team to ensure that targets are hit/exceeded
Accompanying the Sales team to meetings with key clients & high profile prospective
Exploring additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts whilst protecting the margins
Maximising sales revenue via all channels including online, retails and distributors
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Ecommerce to develop effective strategies to maximise opportunities via all channels
Travelling internationally to identify new markets and establish key distribution relationships
Attending at SLT (Senior Leadership Team) meetings to collaborate, discuss objectives and report on results Global Sales Director / Head of Sales Experience Required:

Essential experience

Current experience as a Sales Director / Head of Sales with a background in FMCG environment selling to UK retailers
Must have experience of selling large product volumes to UK major retailers such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrison's & Ocado is essential.
Experience within the FMCG space is essential and must a clear track record of taking products to major retailers (Open to considering Food & Non–Food Categories providing they're high sales volume products)
Strategic planning, business plan delivery and full P&L management
Must hold direct responsibility for the leadership and development of a sales team in the current & previous positions
Full UK Driving Licence & Own Car
Be prepared to travel internationallyDesirable experience:

Selling to retailers such as Boots, Superdrug & Independent Pharmacy Brands would be a significant advantage
Experience of working with Health & Beauty category
Selling to key distributors & retailers internationally
