Electrical Project Manager – Up to GBP65000 + package
My client is an established M&E contractor with a turnover of GBP80M. Due to continued growth and projects won they are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to work on projects within the data centre sector in and around the London and South East area.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Manager will include:
Consider all tender documentation, then interpret and act accordingly
Develop strategies, solutions and methodologies for future projects
Improve and develop construction techniques, sequences of work to deliver the most optimal quality solution
Co–ordinating with all trades and electrical works
Demonstrate an ability to work within a multi–disciplinary team environment
Produce accurate written work to strict project deadlines and the highest quality standards
Oversee Project cost / revenue control and report performance and issue weekly reports
Develop and implement test and commissioning procedures
Requirements of the Electrical Project Manager / Commissioning Manager:
5 years of Project Management experience
Recent experience on data centre construction projects is essential
Electrically trained ideally to HNC level or higher
Ability to demonstrate building strong working relationships & stakeholder management
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Electrical experience in Industrial LV systems or Data centre experience
LV Authorised
HV Authorised not required however experience in HV systems
Experience in commissioning systems, initial energisation,
Transformers, UPS systems, Switchboards
Recording commissioning documentation
Working as part of a commissioning team and can be client facing
